PrimeSource helps rebuild in Oklahoma
PrimeSource Building Products, Inc. and Rebuilding Together announced that they had repaired the home of an Oklahoma City resident who had been forced to relocate after his home was severely damaged by the tornado that devastated parts of Moore, Oklahoma in May 2013.
An Oklahoma City resident was fortunate to survive the storm that caused a large tree to fall onto his house, damaging his roof and flooding his entire home with storm water. Faced with a physical disability from his job as a contractor and limited funds to rebuild, the resident was forced to relocate while working to rebuild slowly.
A few months after the one year anniversary of the devastating tornado that destroyed his home, volunteers from PrimeSource and Rebuilding Together Oklahoma City teamed up to rebuild the resident’s damaged home.
“Support from companies like PrimeSource is critical to helping communities rebuild after they’ve been devastated by storms like the one that hit Oklahoma in 2013,” said Charley Shimanski, president and CEO of Rebuilding Together. “We are thankful for the support and resources that PrimeSource has provided to help Keith rebuild his home and return some of what he has lost.”
“PrimeSource is honored to be able to use its Grip-Rite products to help Rebuilding Together restore this storm ravaged structure back into a home,” said David Fishbein, Co-CEO of PrimeSource Building Products, Inc., exclusive distributor of Grip-Rite products. “As part of the partnership with Rebuilding Together and our commitment to helping rebuild America’s communities, we are proud to contribute the tools, resources and products needed to help Keith finally turn this page and start a new chapter in his life.”
