PCBC prepares to unleash the sharks
You’ve seen the TV show where entrepreneurs pitch their products to a panel of “sharks.” Something similar is on tap at the PCBC event, the West Coast’s largest home-building tradeshow and business exchange.
The PCBC Parade of Products Awards will involve three-minute pitches to the Key Buyers Club, which represents an excusive group of purchasing agents from the country’s top home-building companies. The event is designed partly to recognize the most innovative products in homebuilding, and also swing for the fences.
“Presenting a product to these buyers can turn a business into an overnight success story,” according to the press release announcing the event.
The PCBC exhibit floor will be open for all kinds of business June 25-26 at the Moscone Center in San Franciscowith an opening day keynote by Boston Philharmonic Conducutor Ben Zander and an opening night party at AT&T Park.
Ongoing education events during the conference will examine the issues of supplier/trade shortages, sales leadership and multi-family building trends.
PCBC is sponsored by the California Building Industry Association.
