NLBMDA seeks crane-regulation input

10/25/2018
In an effort to determine the dealer interest and industry need for a crane operator training and certification program, the National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association is asking to dealers to participate in a fact-finding survey.

Condensed to 12 simple questions, The survey results will help us determine how best to address current and proposed changes to the OSHA crane rule.

Here is the survey link.

“NLBMDA is committed to making sure that its members have the resources and tools to help them and their employees meet recommended guidelines to protect their crane operators from potential hazards and accidents,” said NLBMDA President & CEO Jonathan Paine. “We are asking for feedback from lumber dealers across the nation on their crane operator training and certification processes. This feedback is critical to NLBMDA as it works to respond to recent developments related to the crane rule and anticipated new training and certification requirements.”

The survey will close on Nov. 2.
