McCoy’s opens latest location in Alvin, Texas
McCoy’s Building Supply has opened a new location in Alvin, Texas.
The store is a re-location of the company’s Pearland facility built in 1979, McCoy’s said. The new facility was designed to better suit the needs of McCoy customers with a 2-lane, 24,800 square-foot drive-thru lumber yard, a larger parking lot, and a more efficient store layout with four centrally located check-out counters. The new location also includes a 3,000 square-foot warehouse.
“I’m excited for this move and to have a chance to serve the Alvin community,” said Danny Retteghieri, store manager of the Alvin location. “We’re bringing over a great team from Pearland full of folks who are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.”
The opening of the Alvin store occurs as McCoy’s Building Supply closes out its 90th anniversary celebration year.
“As a family-run business, we are thrilled to be part of the Alvin community,” said Brian McCoy, president and CEO. “We are so excited to open this store and better serve our current customers while attracting new ones.”
McCoy’s is one of the nation’s largest privately-held building supply retailers. In addition to serving pros, the company serves ranchers and DIYers. Headquartered in San Marcos, Texas, McCoy’s employs more than 2,000 people and operates 87 stores and two millwork facilities in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, and New Mexico.
