McCoy’s names new managers
McCoy’s Building Supply has promoted Matthew Gonzalez and David Mogle to store manager positions.
Gonzalez has been named manager of McCoy’s Del Rio, Texas location. He is a native of Pharr and joined McCoy’s over six years ago working at his hometown store.
After enrolling in the company’s Management Development Program, Gonzalez was quickly promoted to assistant manager. Most recently, Gonzalez was the assistant manager at McCoy’s Weslaco store before being promoted to manager.
When asked what he was most excited about in his new role, Gonzalez highlighted focused on his team. “I’m excited to work with this amazing crew,” Gonzalez said. “I’m excited to bring new energy to our team with a focus on truly serving our customers in Del Rio through exceptional customer service.”
Mogle has been named store manager of McCoy’s Searcy, Ark. location.
After joining the company nearly six years, Mogle worked at the Tyler, Texas location through the Management Development Program. He quickly moved up the ranks working as an assistant manager at several locations in Texas including Palestine and Longview before his promotion to store manager.
“I’m excited to meet the people of Searcy and to live and work in this community,” Mogle said. “Our store team is full of folks who provide exceptional customer service with a friendly, hometown attitude.”
McCoy’s operates 88 stores, 3 distribution facilities and 2 millwork facilities in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi and New Mexico. Based in San Marcos, Texas, the privately-held pro dealer has roughly 2,500 employees.
