Foam-N-Fill receives ICC evaluation

FireBlock Foam-N-Fill from Tulsa, Okla.-based Red Devil has received an evaluation report (ESR#3402) from ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES), providing evidence that the polyurethane foam meets code requirements. 

"Red Devil can now reference the evaluation report to ensure building officials and the building industry that the product meets I-Code requirements," said Mark Johnson, president of ICC-ES. "Building departments have a long history of using evaluation reports, and ICC-ES operates as a technical resource for the building department. Final approval of building products is always in the hands of the local regulatory agency."

Building officials, architects, contractors, specifiers, designers and others utilize ICC-ES Evaluation Reports to provide a basis for using or approving fireblocking sealants in construction projects. 

FireBlock Foam-N-Fill expands to fully take on the shape of annular cracks and voids where wood has been penetrated by construction plates, pipes and conduits. It has a Flamespread index of less than 25 and has been tested to establish that it maintains the integrity of fireblocking when wood is penetrated.
