Eco-conscious homes for veterans on the drawing board

EcoBlu Products has teamed with Heroes Village to build quality eco-conscious homes for our veterans. 

The two parties signed a "memorandum of understanding" to partner on the project, which has an initial goal to build approximately 2,000 affordable, environmentally friendly and ADA-conforming homes throughout the United States.

EcoBlu is a Vista, Calif.-based manufacturer of treated wood products.

The project has the support of the U.S. Veterans Administration, which guarantees veteran's mortgages through the new G.I. Bill, to build Heroes Village communities in strategic locations nationwide for our veterans. EcoBlu has strategically located affiliates to supply lumber products and pre-fabricated housing components to allow each Heroes Village to meet required specifications.
