Cedar Creek plans new Atlanta location

Oklahoma City-based Cedar Creek has announced its plans to build a new distribution center in Atlanta.

"This expansion into one of the nation's top housing markets underscores our ongoing commitment to growing Cedar Creek's geographic footprint," said CEO Bill Adams. "Although we are currently servicing Atlanta from Birmingham, Ala., our new location will assure that we provide the best possible service and localized product mix to our Atlanta-area customers."

Cedar Creek COO D. Wayne Trousdale added that the company is currently in the process of hiring employees in Atlanta with knowledge of the local market.

The wholesale building materials distribution company currently maintains 16 locations in 25 states.
