Blount names a new SVP global sales & marketing
Blount International, Inc. has promoted David Gillrie to the position of SVP global sales & marketing for the Forestry, Lawn and Garden (FLAG) division.
Gillrie previously served as president of Blount's Concrete Cutting and Finishing division and has been with the company since 2012.

"Dave's sales and marketing expertise and proven leadership skills will benefit the FLAG division as we execute our strategic plan and related initiatives in the coming years."
Gillrie has also served as global general manager for Terex Corporation and VP business development at Ingersoll Rand.
He will replace Andrew York, who resigned to pursue other opportunities within the firearms industry.
