Blomberg Windows shutters its doors after 60 years
Sacramento, Calif.-based Blomberg Windows is closing down after nearly 60 years in the building materials industry.
Citing changes in the economy and building industry, the company has enlisted the services of Bluett & Associates to deal with going-out-of-business logistics, sell its remaining assets and properties, and to work with the staff to fulfill existing orders.
According to the company, the decision was reached "with sadness and only after careful and thorough deliberation."
“Blomberg Windows has been a proud source of quality and business to Sacramento and Northern California for over 50 years, and we are proud to have served the industry and our community," said co-owners Ralph Blomberg and Phil Collier in a joint statement.
Blomberg was established in 1956 and has been providing aluminum doors and windows to the national luxury building products industry ever since.
