Beacon shifts HQ to its Herndon, Va., corporate offices

Beacon Roofing Supply is moving its corporate headquarters from Peabody, Mass., to its Herndon, Va., corporate offices at 505 Huntmar Park Dr.

Beacon president and CEO Paul Isabella cited the start of the 2014 fiscal year, as well as the recent appointment of CFO Joe Nowicki, as fortuitous circumstances for relocation.

"Having Beacon’s finance team join our human resources, information technology, legal, and sales and marketing team leaders in Herndon, Virginia for the first time will allow us to provide even more effective support for our operating regions through more efficient communication and improved team building, exchange of ideas and personal interaction," added Isabella. "This is a small but important step in executing our long-term growth plan.”

Beacon currently operates 236 branches across 39 states and six provinces in Canada.
