LP expands trim and siding portfolio
LP SmartSide Trim & Siding has introduced two new products to their primed portfolio to offer building professionals more options for achieving a more complete engineered wood look.
LP SmartSide J-Blocks and LP SmartSide Mini-Splits are engineered to combine advanced durability with beauty while making the entire siding material selection and installation process easier.
LP SmartSide J-Blocks and Mini-Splits offer a rich cedar-grain texture and can be efficiently mounted around light fixtures, faucets, and more for a crisp look.
Previously only offered in the LP SmartSide ExpertFinish prefinished line of colors, this expansion allows building professionals who are working with primed materials the ability to incorporate these products into their build for an enhanced all-in engineered wood aesthetic and improved productivity from product purchase to installation.
“With the addition of primed LP SmartSide J-Blocks and Mini-Splits, building professionals have access to products that offer solutions to common building needs while offering a clean, holistic aesthetic,” says Chemeka Wachtler, innovation product manager for LP’s siding sector. “We’re focused on delivering the most innovative solutions to our customers as we expand our primed portfolio further and meet the demands of the growing LP SmartSide customer base.”
Composed of treated engineered wood strand substrate, the LP SmartSide J-Block and Mini Splits are perfect for mounting around a variety of exterior fixtures. The J-Block is offered in a 7.23-inch length while the Mini-Splits come in 6.75-inch lengths. Both products have a 7.21-inch width along with 0.970 thickness for a sturdy hold.
Both accessories are backed by a 5/10-Year Limited Warranty for Accessories and Non-Standard Applications, LP said.
