LP Building Solutions aids Military Makeover
LP Building Solutions recently collaborated with the Military Makeover television show and donated LP SmartSide ExpertFinish Trim & Siding to transform the home of a veteran family.
The building products manufacturer and solutions provider said the move is part of LP’s mission to build a better world by giving back and offering premium products that will provide homeowners with peace-of-mind.
For their services, Luke Harvey received a Purple Heart and Natasha Woodruff received the Women of Courage award by the Pentagon, with Harvey serving as an Infantryman and Woodruff serving as a Geospatial Engineer in the United States Army.
After medically retiring in 2014, they settled into a house by a lake with their children in Lincolnton, N.C. In addition to their military background, they were selected for Military Makeover because their home was long overdue for a renovation.
Being close to a lake, LP SmartSide ExpertFinish Trim & Siding in Snowscape White was selected to replace the original siding due to its versatile aesthetic, durability and moisture resistance. Because it is prefinished it also allowed for a more efficient job site, eliminating the need to paint the home’s exterior after installation.
