The full NFL Home Team roster.
Lamar Jackson is joining Lowe’s to unveil the full Lowe’s Home Team roster, a team of community-focused players from all 32 NFL teams who will kick-off community impact projects all season long in each NFL market.
In partnership with Lowe’s, each player will assist with a project that addresses needs specific to the cultural fabric of their NFL hometown, such as critical safe and affordable housing repairs, small business support, veterans' outreach, or disaster recovery.
Jackson, the 2019 NFL MVP quarterback of the Baltimore Ravens, is captain of the Lowe’s Home Team and he plans to join Lowe’s in making a difference in his community.
Through the Home Team project, Lamar will partner with Lowe’s and the Southwest Partnership to support the soon-to-open United Way Family Center in Poppleton at Excel Academy. The center provides quality early childhood education and daycare, in addition to support and resources for student parents to help them strengthen parenting skills. Together, Lamar and Lowe’s will work on improvements to the family center.
“It’s important for me to be able to give back to the community and support the people that have supported me,” Jackson said. “Being a part of the Lowe’s Home team is special for me because it gives me the chance to bring people together and give back.”
The project will provide resources to parts of the community often overlooked and facing economic and housing disparity, especially in the historic community of Southwest Baltimore, as part of a larger commitment by Lowe’s to support housing and workforce needs in the area.
Lowe’s said that its investment in the Baltimore community is fortified by a multi-year partnership with the Baltimore Ravens.
As part of an ad campaign focused on home, Lowe’s will feature the Ravens Stadium, located at 1101 Russell St., and introduce viewers to the many other 1101 Russell Streets nationwide, underscoring how every game will be a home game as fans hunker down at home themselves.
The spot will begin airing in early October and can be viewed here.
