Lowe's launches new MVPs Pros Rewards Program

The new loyalty program includes access to business resources, helping pros tackle back-of-house operations.

Lowe’s has introduced a new program aimed at enhancing its relationship with professional customers and their businesses.

The Lowe’s MVPs Pro Rewards and Partnership Program is rolled out today in select regions before going nationwide on March 7.

“We’re deepening our partnership with pro customers because when they succeed, we succeed,” said Tony Hurst, senior vice president Pro, Services and International. “Lowe’s MVPs Pro Rewards is another big step in Lowe’s continued ‘Total Home’ strategy when it comes to the important Pro customer. We are committed to a true business partnership mindset to help Pros as they grow their businesses and their futures.”

The new program includes: 

  • Lowe’s e-gift cards earned when Pros spend in-store and online on eligible purchases;
  • Access to business resources helping Pros tackle back-of-house operations;
  • Exclusive offers for rewards on eligible paint purchases and free select snacks or drinks at Lowe’s stores;
  • A simple mobile and online user experience allowing Pros to track and claim rewards even when sending a crew member into the store.

Additionally, MVPs Bonus Points can soon be used by pro customers for additional rewards for investing in their own businesses.

The Lowe’s 2022 State of the Pro Annual Report found that 90% of pros said it is important for retailers to have valuable loyalty programs.

The report includes results from a survey conducted by TRUE Global Intelligence who surveyed 1,000 pros and 1,000 homeowners in the United States.

The report also arrives at a time when homeowners are looking to enhance their homes for both value and lifestyle reasons. About 74% of homeowners said home improvement projects are an opportunity to enhance the value of their homes. 

According to survey results, 80% of pros said there is a need for home improvement professionals. The full study can be accessed here.
