Lincoln Davies Building Supply expands
Sauquoit, N.Y.-based Lincoln Davies Building Supply has been in business since 1872, and it's still going (and growing) strong. The company has acquired C&R Hardware, based roughly an hour north in Forestport, N.Y.
According to Lincoln Davies, the Forestport location has a 6,000 sq.-ft. hardware store and a 9,000 sq. ft. building supply facility. As a result of the deal, the company says it will expand its services to include project estimating, complete material lists, kitchen and bath design and delivery across the North Country region of upstate New York.
Lincoln Davies also plans to open a new Kitchen and Bath Design Showroom this month in New Hartford, N.Y. The showroom will feature 1,600 sq. ft. of kitchen and bath items and 800 sq. ft. of millwork with windows, doors, decking, siding and more.
