Leviton appoints sales and marketing exec

The staffer will be tasked with 'driving the company's go-to-market strategy.'

Leviton has appointed Randy Mortensen to executive vice president (EVP) of global distribution sales and marketing. In this new role, Mortensen will be tasked with driving Leviton’s go-to-market strategy to help ensure the company’s electrical and network solutions offerings reach customers worldwide, per the company.

Since joining Leviton in 2020, Mortensen has expanded the strategic account and specification teams to a global scale, while also restructuring the European sales teams to capitalize on growth opportunities in targeted verticals and regions. Additionally, he implemented a specialized contractor organization to address the unique needs of this customer segment. These efforts have enabled local, personalized and structured support to Leviton customers worldwide.

As EVP, Mortensen will focus on strengthening customer relationships and ensuring customers across the globe enjoy consistent, standardized support from Leviton. He will also be tasked with harmonizing Leviton’s global brand positioning, ensuring its solutions and support are aligned with market needs and enhancing brand equity in key regions.
