DeWalt, a Stanley Black & Decker brand, announced the DeWalt 20V Max XR 1/2-inch high torque impact wrench with hog ring anvil equipped with 47% more torque.
This impact wrench is ideal for fastening large pipe flanges, grooved couplings, wheel lugs, concrete anchor bolt setting and other commercial applications.
“Precision wrench mode helps prevent overtightening in forward and run-off in reverse, while four-mode speed settings and a variable speed trigger let the user apply the desired amount of speed for a variety of applications,” said the company.
The wrench is designed for fastening jobs on the jobsite and in the garage, the firm said, delivering 1030 ft-lbs. of max fastening torque and 1400 ft-lbs. of max breakaway torque.
“The impact wrench also introduces new Batteryguard technology, a shock-absorbing battery-to-tool connection that helps reduce wear and tear on the battery while you work,” said DeWalt.
Adjust the brightness level with the press of a button to illuminate dimly lit workspaces with the on-tool LED work light.
DeWalt said it is obsessed with how users work in the real world and is relentlessly pursuing total jobsite and landscaping solutions.
