LBM Advantage recognizes 'Vendors of the Year'
LBM Advantage, one of the nation’s leading lumber and building materials cooperatives has announced its 2022 “Vendors of the Year”.
Vendors in four main building product categories (Commodities, Specialties, Millwork and Kitchen & Bath) are evaluated on a variety of criteria, including sales growth, gross margin improvement, customer support, and product quality.
“LBM is fortunate to have committed vendor partners that believe in our mission to assist independent lumberyards,” said LBM Advantage Executive Vice President, Tom Molloy. “We are proud to celebrate those partners who consistently exceed expectations despite economic challenges, and who have made significant efforts to serve our members.”
Awards were presented to the following companies in the building products division:
- Commodities 2022 Vendor of the Year: CertainTeed Gypsum
- Specialties 2022 Vendor of the Year: Simpson Strong-Tie
- Millwork 2022 Vendor the Year: U.S. Lumber
- Kitchen and Bath 2022 Vendor of the Year: Stock Market
The winning companies will be presented with awards at the LBM Advantage “Annual Buying Show” taking place at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Fla. from Feb. 27-29.
The Annual Buying Show is LBM Advantage’s largest in-person event offering members and vendors the opportunity to network in-person and strategize purchases.
This year’s event theme is “Teaming Up for Success.” The show will feature keynote speaker, Mike Abrashoff, a former naval commander and N.Y. Times best-selling author who will speak about organizational transformation through commitment and cohesion.
LBM Advantage is a wholly member-owned lumber and building materials cooperative comprised of premier independent LBM retailers.
