Kodiak names HR leader

New SVP brings two decades of experience and a focus on a people.

Englewood, Colorado-based Kodiak Building Partners appointed Sandra Jacoby as senior vice president of human resources.

The building materials distributor said Jacoby will lead HR strategy and support the company’s ongoing growth, while focusing on the company’s people.

Most recently, Jacoby served as SVP of corporate administration at PDC Energy, where she played a key role in the company’s integration of business acquisitions and eventual sale.

She has nearly 20 years of leadership experience and has led transformative HR initiatives aligned with corporate strategies, while enhancing culture and operational efficiency.

"Sandra’s expertise in all aspects of HR will be invaluable as we continue to grow and strengthen our organization," said Drew Sultan, Kodiak general counsel. "I look forward to the connection she will foster among our team and her leadership in delivering strategic HR solutions.”

Jacoby holds a Master of Science in Global Energy Management from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Wyoming. She also holds HR certifications, including Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), as well as mediation and employment law credentials.

At last count, the footprint of the fast-growing Kodiak Building Partners had 141 locations. The company has 42 operating companies in 29 states.
