“Due to the weather and geography of this particular market, JDI will be the most accessible and convenient supplier of drywall, insulation, and related materials within 80 miles,” Carter said.
JDI will be housed in 10,000 square feet of warehouse space, with a 1,000-square-foot showroom. Dan Wall will manage the company, and Beau Hayes, president of Jones Heartz, will oversee its operation.
Steve Swinney, CEO of Kodiak, added, “While JDI is a standalone operation, it will easily enjoy the benefit of the trusted and well-respected Jenkins name. Building professionals in the Western Wyoming Star Valley and Jackson area have been loyal to the Jenkins legacy for 45 years. This new formation shall serve them for many decades to come.”
