North Carolina-based Jeld-Wen manufactures both doors and windows.
In a Form 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Jeld-Wen reported that it has named Michael A. Leon as the company’s senior vice president and chief accounting officer.
Leon replaces Scott Vining who will be leaving the company after the closing of Jeld-Wen’s first quarter.
Jeld-Wen said Vining’s departure is not related to any disagreement with the company on any matter relating to its operations, policies, or practices.
Leon has extensive financial and accounting experience, including financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and internal audit, among others.
From June 2018 to March 2023, Leon served as chief accounting officer and corporate controller of Sealed Air Corporation, where he was also the assistant corporate controller from December 2014 until June 2018.
Prior to Sealed Air, Mr. Leon held various accounting and finance positions with increasing levels of responsibility at several diversified global manufacturing companies, including SPX Corporation, United Technologies Corporation, and Goodrich Corporation.
In December 2022, the Charlotte, North Carolina-based window and door manufacturer appointed William Chistensen as its new CEO. Kevin Lilly, who served as interim CEO, moved over to the role of executive vice president, global transformation.
Last month Jeld-Wen reported net revenue for 2022 moved ahead 7.5% to $5.12 billion, compared to $4.77 million for 2021
