JC Licht owner Elliot Greenberg cuts the ribbon at the recent Kenosha store grand opening.
The Kenosha Chamber of Commerce joined JC Licht owner Elliot Greenberg, the staff of JC Licht, and residents of Kenosha, Wisconsin, in celebrating the recent grand opening of JC Licht Ace – Kenosha.
“The day which started with heavy rain did not stop the residents from coming out and witnessing the ribbon cutting ceremony and joining in JC Licht’s grand opening promotions and fundraising festivities benefiting Wisconsin Children’s Hospital,” said the retailer.
The event showcased grilling demos and food sampling hosted by Weber, Traeger, and Big Green Egg, a garden center sale, face painting, a DJ, a fundraising prize wheel, and a cookout hosted by JC Licht’s corporate staff.
“Aside from the tastings provided by the vendors, burgers, brats, and hot dogs were grilled up for lunch by the staff all day and enjoyed by the attendees,” said the company.
JC Licht Ace said it was grateful for the warm reception of the Kenosha Chamber and the enthusiastic support of the community. With rain predicted for the day no one knew what to expect. “It was heartwarming to see the residents come out, and at times even the sun,” said the firm.
JC Licht Ace raised $2,000 that day for Wisconsin Children’s Hospital, “thanks to the kind donations and prize wheel participation of our customers and will continue to partner and fundraise for the hospital,” said JC Licht.
Founded in 1907 in Chicago and now headquartered in Addison, Illinois, JC Licht said it has been, “bringing your inspiration to life in your home, thanks to our Benjamin Moore paint and interior design products and services.”
