IWP names new Specialty Wood Products Manager

IWP (International Wood Products) has named Allan Hurd to the new role of Specialty Wood Products (SWP) Manager based at the company’s Clackamas, Ore. location.

Hurd has been part of the IWP Specialty Wood product teams for two years working with all IWP locations. 

His years of experience in wholesale building material distribution and deep knowledge of the products and specialty wood business positions the department to continue to grow, IWP said in a press release.

“My goal is to continue to be the best supplier and partner to IWP’s customers, vendor partners and most importantly to the IWP team,” Hurd said. 

His SWP team includes John Schweinsberg, Todd Foster, Michael Weber and Max King.

IWP is an independent, full-service stocking distributor and manufacturer of quality building materials providing service to building materials suppliers in 9 Western States. The company operates four locations in California, Oregon, and Washington.
