Ivey’s expands in Louisiana
Ivey’s Building Materials Center opened a brand-new, ground-up building materials center in Blanchard, Louisiana, expanding the business to three Northwest Louisiana locations.
“The positive response from the community has been truly humbling,” said owner Mitch Johnson. “And we're grateful for the support we've received. We look forward to continuing to serve our neighbors with the high-quality building materials and home improvement products they need to make their projects a success.”
Founded in 1969 by Mack and Roy Ivey in Logansport, Louisiana, Ivey Lumber (as it was then called) moved to Mansfield in 1982, and later opened a second location in Haughton.
The 26,000 square foot Blanchard location features an extensive selection of treated lumber, roofing and building materials, and paint and paint supplies, as well as a wide selection of home improvement tools.
The store also features a showroom with a variety of flooring options.
Ivey’s Building Materials Center, a member of the Do it Best co-op, has a modern design, a clean and organized layout, a wide product selection, and turnkey services, and is designed to attract professional contractors and DIYers alike.
A recent ribbon-cutting ceremony included demonstrations with representatives from Allura, Cameron Ashley, and Milwaukee. Plus, the Louisiana State University fishing team was on hand to mark the occasion.
The new store and yard is located at 5312 North Market Street in Blanchard.
