Igloo booms the hip-hop

The new Run DMC boombox cooler has built-in twin Bluetooth speakers.

The Igloo Run DMC boombox cooler has custom artwork that depicts the renowned hip-hop trio.

Igloo has introduced its Run DMC “It’s Tricky” KoolTunes boombox cooler.

Igloo said: “We collaborated with the original kings of hip-hop on a special-edition KoolTunes boombox cooler. This exclusive drop is an epic mix of the most influential rap icons and music fans most favorite cooler – with custom artwork depicting the renowned hip-hop trio, including graphics with a spray paint effect, a callout to one of the most famous hip-hop tracks of all time and a quintessential photo of Run, DMC and Jam Master Jay.”

The song It’s Tricky was featured on the band’s 1987 album titled Raising Hell and the music video featured magicians Penn and Teller as well.

This is a Playmate Classic 14-quart cooler with two built-in twin speakers, said the company, and has up to 10 hours of audio playtime on a single charge.

Other features include a rechargeable internal lithium-ion battery; three-foot USB charging cable included; and, a control panel on the back which includes LED status indicator, charging port and power, and Bluetooth pairing and volume buttons.
