The Home Depot teamed up with HomeSphere, the residential construction homebuilders network. The new deal means homebuilder members of HomeSphere will save on purchases made in-store and through homedepot.com with the benefits of Home Depot’s Pro Xtra loyalty program.
“The Home Depot is the first major retailer to team up with HomeSphere’s leading network of local home builders,” said HomeSphere CEO Glenn Renner. “It opens up easy savings opportunities to our builders.”
For more than 20 years, HomeSphere’s network of nearly 2,700 homebuilders have accessed incentives from leading building product manufacturers on thousands of products, helping them to save millions on materials costs each year. Now, The Home Depot will connect these builders with even more savings in the retail channel.
Savings and rewards that builders receive from the Pro Xtra program include access to The Home Depot’s Pro Desk, volume pricing on purchases over $1,500, up to 20 percent on paints, stains, and primers with lower spend thresholds for discounts, free color-matching and jobsite delivery, easy purchase tracking, and perks for everyday shopping. Plus, every dollar spent on paint-supply products now count towards earning Perks and additional discounts.
“Our builders not only gain tremendous value from the combination of our two programs, but they also gain access to additional experts and resources in their markets. HomeSphere’s regional market specialists and The Home Depot’s national sales team stand at the ready to help them get more done,” said Renner.
