Heritage Landscape Supply Group acquires Freshwater Farms, Inc.
Heritage Landscape Supply Group, a subsidiary of Home Depot-owned SRS, has acquired Freshwater Farms, Inc. (FWF), a wholesale distributor of landscape materials including hardscapes, bulk materials and nursery products. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Headquartered in Atkinson, N.H., FWF was founded in 1988 by Chuck Morse, who still runs the company. FWF employs a team of 37 people and operates on a 13-acre site. Morse will continue to lead FWF's team to help ensure continuity and consistency for customers, suppliers and employees, according to Heritage.
