The Helpful Hardware Company, LLC (THHC) announced David Enmark as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Enmark will join Darin Workman, the THHC current president and COO to drive growth and expansion of the company.
“David is a dynamic, values-driven business leader who has a diverse background of experiences and an excellent track record of delivering growth and operational efficiency improvements in the hardware retailing industry,” said James Bolduc, chairman of the THHC board of directors.
Enmark, a seasoned executive with more than 15 years of retail hardware experience, was divisional VP of retail operations for True Value, where he delivered significant organizational change, transforming it into a more focused business, said the firm.
“He has exceptional strategic capabilities, proven operational effectiveness, and strong experience in the core markets that we serve. The board looks forward to working with David and Darin to realize the full potential of THHC,” said Bolduc.
He also held numerous roles in the business development division of both True Value and Do It Best Corporation.
Prior to joining True Value in 2013, Enmark worked for Do It Best Corporation for more than four years as regional sales and business development manager.
“I am delighted to have been appointed to lead THHC. It is a business with an impressive footprint, a strong portfolio of stores, a talented team, and an enviable reputation as a leader in the industry,” said Enmark.
Under Enmark’s leadership, THHC said it looks forward to continuing its legacy of providing top-quality hardware products and services to its valued customers, while also embracing innovative strategies to meet the challenges of a dynamic market.
“I will be focused on working with the THHC team to deliver a step-up in business performance, as we serve the communities throughout the Southeast who rely on our stores for all of their hardware and home preservation needs,” said Enmark.
Founded in 2014, The Helpful Hardware Company, headquartered in Cumming, Georgia, is a member of the Ace Hardware cooperative. It has grown to 19 stores across the Southeast since its inception.
