HBSDealer presents LBM Finance & Development Week

HBSDealer is presenting LBM Finance & Development Week, including a series of discussions focused on acquisitions, business valuation and industry insurance.

Schedule for Jan. 25 - Jan. 27, the program features daily virtual presentations.

On Jan. 25, HBSDealer will focus on “The State of the LBM Industry.” Industry experts will look at how merger and acquisition activity, along with economic forces, are reshaping the LBM industry. The discussion, sponsored by Epicor, includes Paul Hylbert, chairman of Kodiak Building Partners, and Larry Morgan, manager at Mountain State Acquisitions, LLC; and Jon Davis, president of Davis Consulting.

Sam Brownell, managing director at Stratus Wealth, will focus on “Business Valuation: What is My Business Worth and Can it Fund My Retirement?” on Jan. 26. Brownell outline the steps for valuing a business while providing tips on how to increase its value.

Representatives from Pennsylvania Lumbermens Mutual Insurance Company (PLM) will break down “The State of the LBM Insurance Industry” and areas that pro dealers should be focused on. The presentation takes place on Jan. 27.
