Employment in major industries including construction, wholesale trade, information, and government showed little change over the month. But the overall job numbers were strong in November.

That’s the take from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, as the national unemployment rate held steady at 3.5% -- down slightly from a year ago, and down even more slightly from last month.

Gas prices also held steady on this week's Quikrete Industry Dashboard.  A gallon of regular clocked in at a national average of $2.59, according to the American Automobile Association.
