W.Va. hardware store owner fights floods … again

Beaver Hardware owners Tri and Julie Mills lost most of their inventory when flooding hit the town of Beaver, W.Va., in March, according to an article in the Register-Herald.com.

Now that the flooding is back in their area, the hardware store owners are less vulnerable. The 1.5 to 2 inches in their warehouse don’t reach the now-elevated inventory, they told the reporter, who turned to the local store owners to help explain why poor drainage management has lead to additional flooding in the area.
