Two promotions at Hyde Tools
Hyde Tools has announced the promotion of two sales executives who serve its big-box, discount store, and co-op and industrial channels.
Bob Clemence, the former sales director for the co-op and paint manufacturers channel in North and South America, has been promoted to VP sales. A 20-year veteran of the company, Clemence is a fourth-generation member of the Hyde Tools family business. With his new position come additional domestic and international account assignments, including Lowe’s, Target and Walmart.
Clemence also serves as president of the American Edged Product Manufacturers Association.
Lou Oleksy, who served as director of sales for hardware and industrial distribution, has also been promoted to VP sales. Oleksy began his career at Hyde in 1984 as district sales supervisor covering New England area accounts. He was promoted to field sales manager and then national sales manager before taking on the job of director of sales. In his new position, Oleksy will have additional responsibility managing sales to large national accounts, including The Home Depot and Menards.
Oleksy is a member of the Hardware Group Association, a forum for industry executives.
