Stanley, B&D merger complete
New Haven, Conn.-based Stanley Works announced it has completed its merger with Black & Decker.
The new company will be called Stanley Black & Decker. Under the conditions of the merger, Black & Decker stock will be converted into 1.275 shares of Stanley Works, and the new company will appear on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol SWK.
