Lowe's rings NYSE bell to Keep America Beautiful
Lowe's rang the New York Stock Exchange Closing Bell on Monday to kick off the 17th annual Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup, a community-based initiative involving beautification projects nationwide.
Lowe's market director Michael Ricciardi was joined by Keep America Beautiful president and CEO Jennifer Jehn, as well as representatives from Lowe's and Keep America Beautiful on the NYSE podium.
This is Lowe's third year participating as a national sponsor, as well as its fourth supporting Keep America Beautiful.
The Great American Cleanup takes places in more than 20,000 each spring, with events and education programs focused on improving parks, trails and recreation areas; cleaning shorelines and waterways; removing litter and debris; reducing waste and promoting recycling; and planting trees, flowers and community gardens.
