Lowe's Canada appoints a new VP supply chain
Lowe's Canada has named Gregor Stuart to the newly created position of VP supply chain, effective July 27.
Gregor has over 25 years of experience in retail supply chain and logistics. His career includes senior roles at several major Canadian retailers, including Loblaw Companies Limited, The Bargain! Shop, Hudson's Bay Company, Canadian Tire Corporation LTD and National Grocers Co. Ltd.
In his new role, he will oversee the company's supply chain operations and a new Distribution Centre, a 1.3 million-sq.-ft. facility in Milton, Ontario, that's due to open this November.

The move is a strategic aspect of Lowe's continued growth in Canada, creating further oversight for the creation of a supply chain infrastructure that can support its expansion.
