HIRI looks at consumer paths to purchase
The Home Improvement Research Institute’s Spring Conference next week will examine, among other things, the decision paths of consumers.
The group’s spring conference – “Insights and Resources for the Home Improvement Industry” – will include a session titled: “What paths do consumers take before coming to a decision?”
The presentation will borrow from a study of more than 42 products by The Stevenson Co. that looked at reasons for purchase, immediacy of need and type and price of the product. “In this presentation, results will be shared about how the study was designed to handle such a wide array of processes,” according to the agenda.
The April 18 event will take place at the DoubleTree Hotel Crystal City by Hilton in Arlington, Va. The first of seven presenters speaks at 8:30 a.m. and the event runs until 4:30 p.m.
Registration fee for HIRI members is $200. For nonmembers the fee is $450.
