Counting down the All Stars
It takes a little more to be an All Star.
Since 2011, HBSDealer has reached out to suppliers, distributors, manufacturers, vendors, retailers and home owners in search of high-performing, service-oriented, community-minded hardware store, lumberyard or farm and ranch dealers worthy of All Star status.
By and large, we’ve found them. Check out the 2016 class in its entirety here.
Wether it’s a massive assortment of fasteners, or a willingness to fight the competition on price, each honoree has it’s own story. Here are three more vignettes in our All Star count-down.

An independent with fighting spirit, LaValley-Middleton actually encourages price comparisons with the big boxes on any list of goods -- its web site even features side-by-side receipts. A strong supporter of green energy, the second floor of the West Lebanon, N.H., store features a model train display with a "green city" theme.
