CNRG acquires Wake Forest Ace
Natchez, Miss.-based Central Network Retail Group, or CNRG, said it acquired Ace Hardware in Wake Forest, N.C., and will rebrand the store as Town & Country Hardware.
The 12,500-sq.-ft. store located at 910 Gateway Commons Circle in Wake Forest will be the eighth store under CNRG’s Town & Country Hardware brand in North Carolina.
Phillip Helms, the stores’ owner, will join CNRG as district manager for the Town & Country stores.
“Phillip has built a great store in Wake Forest and has a distinguished career in retail,” said Boyden Moore, president of CNRG. “Philip will help us build the Town & Country brand throughout North Carolina. We are excited about this step forward in our growth and look forward to more to come.”
CNRG currently operates 38 home center and hardware stores in Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Tennessee, Texas and North Carolina under the Home Hardware Center, Morrison Terrebonne Lumber Center, NFL Home Center, Elliott’s Hardware and Town & Country Hardware brands.
