Billings Hardware embraces fruits and vegetables

What started as a strategy to boost the sales of canning supplies, a farmers-market event has grown this year at Billings Hardware in Montana, according to an article in the Billings Gazette.

Billings Hardware tried the farmers market last year, with a trailer-load of produce. This year, the store brought in three trailers, including 3,000 cases of peaches, according to the report. The event was expected to run through Sunday.
