Pittsburgh-based Busy Beaver will open its newest home improvement store located at 731 Beverly Pike, Elkins, West Virginia on April 10. The 33,000 sq. ft. Eklins store will have a grand opening event for the community April 27.

“We’ve been looking forward to opening our Busy Beaver store in Elkins, and we’re excited to provide residents, DIYers and local contractors across the region with the same outstanding, customer-friendly store experience that Busy Beaver has become known for at all our locations. We’re pleased to become a part of the Elkins community,” said Joe Kallen, chief executive officer, Busy Beaver.

The Elkins store is Busy Beaver’s fourth location in West Virginia, with other stores in Fairmont, Weirton and Moundsville. The hardware retailer also operates three stores in Ohio and 15 stores across Western Pennsylvania, totaling 22 stores.

The Elkins Busy Beaver, featuring an outdoor lumber yard, and a farm and ranch department, will hire approximately 20 new full-time and 10-15 part-time employees.
