Great Lakes Ace Indianapolis recently opened a new store location on Allisonville Road with a special fundraiser that benefitted the Riley Children’s Hospital and Riley Children’s Foundation.
“It is a pleasure to serve our neighbors in Indianapolis as a neighbor, employer and trusted source for reliable advice,” said Manager Jameson Hartley as his team welcomed everyone into the new store.
The Riley Children’s Foundation is a non-profit organization in Indianapolis that provides kids and families support through the Riley Children’s hospital, Indiana’s only comprehensive hospital dedicated to the care of kids.
“Customers who donated $5 to Riley Children’s Foundation received a five gallon paint bucket and the opportunity to save 20% on almost everything they purchase during the celebration,” said the hardware retailer.
After a ceremonial chain cutting, Benjamin Moore led a workshop on paints called “Bring your door to our door” to help answer customers’ questions about refinishing kitchen cabinets using Benjamin Moore products.
The local Ace Handyman Services team was also there to discuss how they might help relieve customer project loads.
Originally founded in 1946 as The Hardware Depot by the Traskos brothers of Dearborn, Michigan, Great Lakes Ace Hardware today operates 64 locations in neighborhoods in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky.
