Minneapolis-based Graco Inc., a manufacturer of fluid handling equipment, announced that effective May 24, Ronita Banerjee will join the firm as executive vice president and chief human resources officer.
“Ronita brings impressive credentials as a human resources leader,” said Mark Sheahan, president and CEO at Graco. “She has been instrumental in her previous roles leading global human resources initiatives for respected manufacturing companies. She has substantial experience in working for companies like Graco that have employees who maintain a wide variety of skill sets and positions.”
“I am pleased to welcome Ronita to the Graco team and am confident that she will bring a wealth of insight and value to the company,” said Sheahan.
Banerjee joins Graco from Westinghouse Electric Company, based in Pittsburgh, where she served in several human resources leadership roles since 2019 and, most recently, as the chief human resources officer.
Prior to joining Westinghouse Electric, she worked for Honeywell Inc., where she was a global HR vice president for a business division.
Banerjee will be the successor to David Ahlers, the company’s previous executive VP of human resources, who is retiring after 14 years of service with the company.
“I want to thank David for his many contributions to Graco,” said Sheahan. “David’s leadership has been integral to our success over his years of service. Along with everyone in the Graco family, I wish him a long, happy and well-deserved retirement.”
