Good Earth Lighting Inc. co-founder Marvin Feig announced he has sold his company to his executive team, a group of four industry veterans, who each have more than 30 years’ experience with global brands in the lighting, retail, and hardware industries.

The new ownership group consists of Brian Coleman, VP of marketing and product development; Greg Forrest, VP of sales; Chris Serak, VP of engineering and global operations; and T.R. Turner, chief financial officer.

“These four guys all joined Good Earth in the last 10 years and in that time have helped double the size of our business,” said Feig.

Founded in 1992, based in Mt. Prospect, Illinois, and celebrating 30 years, the firm said it manufactures millions of indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures that are environmentally friendly, customizable and cost efficient.

Feig and co-founder Alex Kowalenko will both remain at the company with Feig continuing to serve as president.

“They are a dream team, and I am proud to be part of a dynamic, progressive group that not only understands this industry but sees incredible opportunity for the future,” said Feig.
