Fortress Building Products, DecksDirect expand partnership
The companies make a foray into the metal fencing category.
Fortress Building Products is expanding its partnership with DecksDirect in advance of the 2025 building season. Adding to its current line-up of metal offerings from Fortress (including metal railing, deck framing and pergolas), the national ecommerce company is set to deliver Athens aluminum fencing and VERSAI ornamental steel fencing to the virtual marketplace. This move will diversify DecksDirect’s inventory position, providing DIY homeowners and professional contractors quick and convenient avenues to purchase outdoor living solutions.
“DecksDirect is an industry leader, providing high service and customer satisfaction in the outdoor living categories,” said Glenn Coffee, director of channel sales – retail & ecommerce at Fortress Building Products. “Historically, they have focused on the traditional decking categories, however this step into the fencing category is a natural extension of our partnership. Their proven business model, paired with their ties to customers in the backyard project space, should prove to be a winning combination.”

According to the company, taking its partnership with DecksDirect into the metal fencing category is a logical next step for Fortress. DecksDirect been a partner for years, stocking and selling Fortress railing products and its Evolution steel deck framing system. The addition of Athens and VERSAI aims to build on that success.
