World Vision sets sights on Orlando event
A top executive of the world’s largest construction products company will keynote the upcoming Crystal Vision Award Breakfast in Orlando, Fla., Jan. 10.
The event, to benefit the Storehouse of World Vision, will take place at the Rosen Centre Hotel, near the Orange County Convention Center. Keynote speaker is Benoit Bazin, senior VP of Saint Gobain, and president and CEO of CertainTeed.
The Storehouse of World Vision is a network of six warehouses that receive donated goods including building materials, school supplies, personal care items, and clothing from corporate partners. Annually, these supplies are distributed to more than 2.2 million people in low-income communities.
As part of Design & Construction Week, which includes the NAHB’s International Builders’ Show, the Storehouse of World Vision will present the 18th annual Crystal Vision Award. Also, a Partnership Award and Lifetime Achievement Award will also be presented. The event is open to conference attendees, as well as local home builders, manufacturers, vendors, designers, and architects.
The breakfast is free. Organizers encourage participation to spread the word about the good work of Storehouse, which included a busy post hurricane season providing materials for Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico.
The invitation reads: “Learn about the opportunity to partner with the Storehouse of World Vision while recognizing the generous donations of the building manufacturers and suppliers who have positively impacted American families in need.”
