Housing served at ProDealer Industry Summit
The 2016 ProDealer Industry Summit will feature a presentation from Jerry Howard, the CEO of the National Association of Home Builders.
Howard will discuss the 2016 economic and political outlook during the Thursday morning general session Oct. 27.
His outlook will draw upon more than half the year in economic and housing performance upon to analyze. Housing has been a challenge throughout the recovery, but there is still plenty of room to grow. And industry observers have more questions than answers.
Will the rest of the year continue the trend or will we see a turn? Will growth continue into 2017 and how good (or bad) will it be? What impact will the Presidential race have on our industry and what are some of the top legislative priorities?
Howard will address the pace of the housing recovery to date and provide evidence of where it will go next year along with some details on what is being built -- and where. He will also share NAHB's perspective on the Presidential race and their legislative priorities in 2017.
The ProDealer Industry Summit, to be held at the Charleston Marriott in Charleston, South Carolina brings together top LBM leaders, manufacturers, and industry experts from across the country who are ready to address the tough lumber and building material market.
The event is hosted jointly by the NLBMDA and HBSDealer.
