Golden Hammer Update: Paint Accessories

Readers have spoken: the 2015 Golden Hammer Award in the Paint Accessories category goes to The Wooster Brush Company.

The award is the result of an HBSDealer survey of retailers and distributors who were asked to identify the brand that offers outstanding benefits for their business in each of a dozen product categories.

“It takes our entire organization's commitment to quality products, service, and on time delivery to be a true partner to our retail customers,” said Scott Rutledge, VP of marketing for Wooster Brush. “We appreciate our retailers efforts to stock and sell our products and we are committed to support them in every and anyway possible to help them be successful.”

The vendor awards are part of the 31-year Golden Hammer tradition that includes a ceremony held in partnership with the National Hardware Show. The event is set for May 5 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Channel Leaders Club Lounge area in the Central Hall near booth #3055.

The awards will include the presentation of the Golden Hammer Hall of Fame award to Joe Scarlett, retired chairman of Tractor Supply Co. Also featured will be the presentation of the Retailer of the Year award to Orchard Supply Hardware, and the Tools of the Trade award to Shell Lumber & Hardware.

All retailers and vendors are invited to take part in the awards, refreshments and networking.

The National Hardware Show is slated for May 5-7.
