A Home Depot Pitch Panel
Las Vegas – The Inventors Spotlight at the National Hardware Show once again featured a Home Depot Pitch Panel that offered inventors a chance to swim with the sharks, so to speak.
The Pitch Panel, which had a similar look and feel to the popular television show Shark Tank, took place on the Inventors Spotlight Stage and featured a number of exhibitors.
Among the items pitched were the Simpole, a pole digger that allows the user to slam the handles down in the direction of the hole for more digging power. The idea seemed to spark some interest in the panelists. Less successful was a presentation on knee pads that were designed to stay in place, and not slip down to the wearer’s ankles.
The panel took place Wednesday morning. It was moderated by Warren Tuttle, the president of the United Inventors Association of America, which uses the slogan “Supporting the independent inventor community.”
