Curbside pickup is in demand.

Building supply dealers have been uber busy handling the increased demand of eCommerce and digital business. And so have technology companies.

One example: Epicor this month released the newest version of its BisTrack Global offering, which is built with the impact of COVID-19 on dealers’ business. Enhancements include greater financial management and reporting capabilities, enabling users to make better decisions through access to deeper insights, greater visibility into inventory, and improved efficiency, the company says.

Epicor BisTrack Global is available to North American businesses and new UK customers.

In a virtual press conference to promote the release Epicor’s Kevin Hodge pointed to the activities keeping customers busy and productive. Topping the list were eCommerce and curbside pickup. Hodge added that sales of products related to eCommerce were seeing widespread interest. Customer growth in this area is up about 400%, he added.

Other key focus areas include contactless delivery and payments; remote access for work-from-home functionality; price and supply uncertainty; and inventory control.

In addition to new API  (Application Programming Interface) endpoints for richer eCommerce solutions, Key new features of BisTrack Global include a Simplified Kit Management Enhancements. That means businesses can now save significant time and effort by using attributes to perform bulk set up or changes that affect all kits at the same time – a considerable reduction in complexity, the company says.

Also, the new offering promises richer integration with Epicor Warehouse Management: Greater visibility into how inventory is stored and packaged in the warehouse, enabling the maintenance to occur in real-time, on the floor, as the material is handled.
